COVID-19 Labor Day Safety Tips

If you’re hosting or attending a get together, follow these safety tips:

    • Set up outside and in an area where people can stay 6 feet apart. The risk for spreading COVID-19 increases while indoors.
    • Keep it small. Small gatherings allow room to physically distance.
    • Designate tables per household and bring your own lawn chairs to social distance.
    • Bring your own food; however, if you want to cook for your guests, follow these tips:
      • Have one person with thoroughly washed hands prepare the food.
      • Put the helping for one household on a serving plate or bowl and place it 6 feet from everyone. Then, that household can pick up their food and bring it back to their physically distanced table.
      • Repeat for the next household/table.
    • Make sure to provide plenty of paper towels, tissues, disinfecting wipes, and no-touch trash cans.
    • Always wear your mask.
    • Know you are healthy before you partake in a group gathering.
Best safety tip: Wait until next year
