  • General Orthopedics & Sports Related Injuries

General orthopedics and sports-related injuries include a wide spectrum of musculoskeletal injuries, impairments, and disabilities. Starting with an individual assessment identifying the patient’s functional weakness, the BaySport Physical Therapist will work with the patient to develop an active recovery plan to get them “back to the field” as fast as possible.

  • Complimentary Injury Assessment

This program includes an individual assessment of your injury by a BaySport Physical Therapist. Although no treatment will be provided, you will come away with clear guidelines to help you accomplish the fastest possible recovery and return to activity. These guidelines may include specific exercise recommendations, a physical therapy plan, or, if necessary, a referral to a physician.

  • Pilates-Based Rehabilitation

Pilates is a safe and effective form of exercise for the rehabilitation of orthopedic and sports-related injuries. A licensed physical therapist and a Certified Pilates-based instructor will evaluate you and supervise all of your exercise programs and progression.

  • Vestibular Rehabilitation

Vestibular rehabilitation therapy (VRT) is an individualized exercise-based physical therapy that results in stabilization in the patients gait and gaze. A BaySport Physical Therapist will evalute the patient’s symptoms and medical history to identify any vestibular issues that can cause issues with balance, visual stability and the gait of the patient.

  • Pediatric Sports Therapy

A BaySport Physical Therapist will work directly with the child or teen to diagnose, treat and manage musculoskeletal problems caused by injury in athletic activities.  The physical therapist will work alongside the child or teen to compose a physical therapy plan to return the patient to full activity after acute trauma or an overuse injury.

  • Exertional Concussion Therapy

Exertional Concussion Physical Therapy is a specialized form of therapy designed to help individuals who have experienced a concussion gradually return to physical activity. A BaySport Physical Therapist will examine your neurological, orthopedic, and cardiovascular systems to identify a routine that addresses your specific symptoms and needs. Treatments may include rest and recovery, restoring strength and endurance, stopping dizziness and improving balance, reducing headaches, and returning to normal activity or sport.

M.B., BaySport PT Patient

“The entire staff is great, from reception to the friendly aids to my physical therapist, who is extremely knowledgeable and supportive…Owning a pilates and wellness studio, I work with injuries and special populations. If any clients need therapy, I recommend this place before any other!”

Ryan R., BaySport PT Patient

“This place was recommended to me by my orthopedic surgeon to help recovery from an operation to fix a separated shoulder. The building and facility is brand new, and everything sparkles. The staff seems to care about each patient. Unlike many physical therapy offices, here you get significant personal attention and dedicated “hands-on” time.”
