Born and raised in the Bay Area, Doug Emery received his Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of California at Davis. Prior to founding BaySport with his partner and wife, Linda Emery, in 1984, he was a physiologist for the United States Olympic Committee and United States Olympic Ski Team, and developed the Executive Health program for O’Connor Hospital.
